Our Cookie Policy
This policy explains which cookies Cremation Ink ® uses on cremationink.com, why we use them, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we look after your personal information more generally.
We only set essential cookies automatically. Everything else waits until you say yes, and you can change your mind at any time.

What Cookies Are
A cookie is a small text file saved on your phone, tablet or computer when you visit a website. It lets the site remember things, such as what’s in your basket, or whether you’ve already answered the cookie banner.
Some cookies are set by us (first-party cookies). Others are set by services we use, such as our payment providers (third-party cookies). This policy also covers similar technologies, like local storage, that work in the same way.
How We Use Cookies
Our cookie banner groups cookies into four categories. Only the first is switched on without your consent.
| Category | What it does | Your choice |
|---|---|---|
| Functional | Makes the site work: your basket, checkout, secure payments, logins and remembering your cookie choices. | Always on. The site can’t work properly without these. |
| Preferences | Remembers settings you choose, so you don’t have to set them again. | Only with your consent. |
| Statistics | Tells us how visitors use the site, such as which pages are read most, so we can improve it. | Only with your consent. |
| Marketing | Helps us understand which adverts, links or partners brought you to us. | Only with your consent. |
We don’t use cookies to sell your information, and we never will.
The Cookies We Use
These are the cookies our site sets or allows. Names ending in [hash] or [ID] include a random code unique to your visit.

These cookies don’t track you across other websites. They only tell us which of our affiliate partners sent you, so we can pay them fairly.
Videos, Social Media And Other Websites
- Vimeo: videos on our site are embedded in Vimeo’s “do not track” mode, so Vimeo doesn’t use them to track your viewing.
- [YouTube: if a page embeds a YouTube video, YouTube may set cookies once you play it. We load these only with your Marketing consent.]
- Facebook and YouTube links: the icons at the bottom of our pages are plain links. They don’t set cookies until you click through, and then that site’s own cookie policy applies.
- Other websites: we sometimes link to other sites, including our sister studio Bubblegum Ink. We’re not responsible for their cookies, so please check their policies.
Managing Your Cookie Choices
When you first visit, our banner lets you Accept all cookies, Deny everything except functional cookies, or View preferences and choose category by category.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the Manage consent button on this page or at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing consent won’t affect anything that happened before you changed it.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block functional cookies, your basket, checkout and account login may stop working. For help, see aboutcookies.org or your browser’s help pages.
Changes To This Policy
We’ll update this policy whenever we add or remove a service that uses cookies, or when the law changes. The “last updated” date at the top will always show when it was last revised.
